My Story

About Justin

Hello, I'm Justin

A Rhode Island-based Photographer

Photography has run strong through my family my whole life. When I was 13, I brought a disposable camera to my first concert, and since that day, I have loved capturing exciting moments. This excitement extends beyond concerts, and capturing the special moments in the big days of people's lives has become a passion of mine. I hope you'll make me a part of yours!

I photographed my first wedding in 2009, and while I loved it, never made a big push into it. Over the following 12 years, I would photograph 1-3 weddings a year.

In 2022, I left my job of over two decades to become a full-time stay-at-home dad to my two amazing kids. Filling my weekends with weddings made sense, and in 2022, I photographed more than 25 weddings. Now I get to do what I love, while I also get to be home and raise my family.

The Entertainment Outlet

My love of photographing concerts grew over the years. In 2011, I got my first photopass to professionally shoot a band. In 2013, I started a website, The Entertainment Outlet, so that I would have a place for these photos, and I began writing reviews of these shows.

Now, we have a growing team of photographers, who collectively cover more than 100 concerts nationwide each year.

Though I live in the smallest state, I've been fortunate to see a lot of the world. I've lived in five different states in my life, as well as in England for a few years.

Over the years I've traveled domestically to 41 states, and internationally I've been to Japan, Australia, Italy, Canada, France, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and The Galapagos Islands.

Since 2005 I have performed off and on with the Aerosmith tribute band, Draw the Line. These days, I fill in occasionally, but the more than 400 shows I've done have taken us around the country multiple times. We've played great venues like MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, The Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, and The American Gardens theater at Epcot. We've made multiple trips to Mexico, as well as journeys to Honduras, Trinidad and regular rotations on cruise ships.

Yeah, I used to have hair. Nowadays, when I step into the role of bass player Tom Hamilton, a blonde wig, affectionately named 'Penelope,' is often a part of my wardrobe.
